DENNIS REEVE
It's dawn at the log camp and the workers are starting to stir for another day in the Douglas Firs.  The Mountain line site, which includes a corner module out of the picture to the left, instills the feeling of the "good ol' loggin' days".
Oh NO! The cook must have gone for a nature break and the kitchen is on fire!!! Breakfast is going to be really hot today.
With the fire under control and the camp back to normal, its time to get to work as the standard gauge Shay  heads up track to unload logs near the camp. The Tank Engine on top has just made a delivery to the camp.
Doug Fir logs are being hauled up from the creek bottom by the log boom at the top of the ridge.
The day has come to an end as the Shay is  about to be serviced for the next day's toil in the timber. Dennis' log camp module is still under reconstruction so watch for future changes. He'll certainly need a new cookshack!
Spend a Day in the Woods!
The steam donkey is working hard to haul up those huge Firs from the creek bottom.
These modules are now retired and Dennis is in the process of building new ones to replace them.
